Description
This acrylic varnish is truly unique and has been tailored to remove the shine of any models being dipped with Quickshade or painted using conventional paints. Although really matt, the sprays original formula retains the metallic shine from Plate Mail etc.
Always let the Quickshade dry for minimum 48 hours before using this varnish and apply it in a thin coat. Never spray in humid conditions and cold weather. Test on a model first before spraying the whole army.

Shipping Restrictions:
This item can't be shipped by air. It is considered to be "Hazmat" and has several shipping restrictions. For customers in the contiguous U.S., there are two shipping options:
- Flat-rate Economy shipping (or Free Shipping if your order qualifies) which is limited to a max of two cans of aerosol per order
- UPS Ground shipping which has no limit to the number of cans you can order
Orders with Flat-rate Economy or Free Shipping selected at checkout will be sent via USPS Hazmat Ground shipping. USPS regulations don't allow us to ship more than two cans of aerosol per shipment, so if you order more than two with one of these shipping methods selected, we'll contact you about cancelling the extras. USPS Hazmat Ground has an "estimated" transit time of 2-6 business days to the contiguous United States, however, it is prone to transit delays, and it's not unusual for USPS Hazmat Ground shipments to take 2-3 weeks to arrive.
To receive this item as quickly as possible (which might still be fairly slow), consider upgrading to UPS Ground shipping at checkout, which is less likely to suffer extended transit delays. It also isn't restricted to a maximum of two cans of aerosol per shipment.
Additional Shipping Restrictions:
It has the following shipping restrictions:
- No expedited shipping (USPS Priority Mail, UPS 3-Day Select, or UPS 2nd Day Air).
- No international shipping.
- No FPO/APO/DPO addresses.
- Shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, or U.S. territories have a limit of two aerosols per order, can't be sent UPS Ground, and might take up to 26 days to arrive.
- Not shippable to certain rural Alaskan ZIP codes that only receive mail by air.
This item will be cancelled from any orders shipping to international or FPO/APO/DPO addresses, or rural Alaskan addresses that are only served by air.
If an order with expedited shipping (USPS Priority Mail, UPS 3-Day Select, or UPS 2nd Day Air) includes this item, the shipping method will be downgraded and the extra shipping cost will be refunded. USPS Priority Mail shipments will be downgraded to Flat-rate Economy shipping and expedited UPS services will be downgraded to UPS Ground.
Safety:
- DANGER: Extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurized container: May burst if heated. Causes serious eye irritation. May cause drowsiness or dizziness. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. No smoking. Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source.
- Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Avoid breathing spray. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
- If it gets in your eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Call a POISON CENTER if you feel unwell. If eye irritation persists: Get medical attention. Store locked up.
- Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C/122°F.
- Dispose of container according to national regulations.
- Contains: n-butyl acetate; acetone.
